I have an older pw50 that has issues. It stalled during a ride and wouldn't restart, please was running fine to that point. Here is what I've done:
Thoroughly cleaned carb.
New sparkplug, good spark confirmed using starting fluid (and I can get it started with a manual prime).
The bike will start with a prime and restart when warm with the throttle wide open. But only with the air filter off. Both the air filter and tail pipe restrict air and kill the engine.
The exhaust pipe and tailpipe have been cleaned thoroughly.
With the air box off, noticeable fuel sprays out the back of the carb.
Adjusted carb, but cannot get engine to idle.
Pilot and main jet are clean and in good shape.
Compression is 102

Any ideas???

your compression is to low, anything under 110 has running issues, time for a rebuild,
