I bought a 2016 wolverine. I'm going with 28"zilla tires, do you guys think I need to go with a clutch kit, and I mean the wet clutch kit. If the answer is yes, would u need it if I go with 27" zillas?

If it won't pull 28 inch Zillas with a stock clutch.... you might of bought the wrong machine ... lol
Seriously though , 28 zilllas are a very light tire , it should pull them stock , but some clutch work seems to help the Yamaha 700s , say the grizz guys . I would not spend a fortune though trying to make it into something it will never be...

You will probably be OK without clutching, but it can be really hard on the wet clutch if you don't use low gear as necessary. Clutching will give you an amazing bang for your buck! I recommend to anyone with a 700 to get their primary sheave machined and fixed plate machined - Airdam Stage 2. It cost me about $230 through Rapid Revolutions and they quite often have one or two already done, so all you have to do is trade yours in.

Edit: About 30 seconds after writing this a friend just messaged me. He went to Rapid for one of these and was told Airdam is out of business. There's another guy who supposedly does a really good job of machining, but I can't remember who he is off the top of my head. I'll reply back if I find his info again.

Nope. I've only seen this dude by his forum names which escape me at the moment. Besides, an STM would cost a heck of a lot more than a couple hun and would probably not be worth it for the limited amount of power the 700's produce.

You can try to contact Airdam directly
airdamclutches.com

Coop45 is the guy I was thinking of (and may actually be the one that's out of business, not Airdam)
Coop's Clutch Mod's - Coop's Clutch Mods

Then there's JBS Hotrod

You can also try Hunterworks, but I have never talked to anyone who uses their setup. They also seem to push the greasless setup which I understand can cause the weights to get displaced under hard deceleration. I don't enjoy having to pull the clutch cover off on the trail, so I've kept mine greased even though I HATE cleaning it every year.

I know you have rode and dealt with Dustin when he was still in Fairview. Give Shad a call and talk to him. He will help you out.

Build your own snorkels. Very easy to do and you can do it the way you want it!

Well, it looks like a epi clutch kit, 3" snorkels, including a blower on belt intake, and 2" highlifter lift. Anything else?
