Is anyone running the the Zbroz, front track shock spring on their viper? I was thinking on installing one On my 14, 174 turbo viper to get a little less ski pressure. I just don't want to end up with it wheeling over on steep climbs. I also have the baker coupled skid on it,

Call me I have the Baker skid on my Sidewinder and I had too much ski pressure as well at first but after working with Darrell we made a spring change and a few adjustments on the suspension and I got most of my playfulness back, and my skis are 6 inches off the snow in a climb, its awesome.

I have a Zbroz spring on my stock skid and it has been one of the best up grade i have done to the sled . Its very noticeable, with no wheelie issues. Infact i liked the upgrade so much i installed one on my wife's Cat. It has the same skid and similar ski pressure issues. When i did her's i never told her and the very first ride with the upgrade spring she commented on how light the sled felt today, it must be the snow or i feel stronger, she said...LOL.
I recommend it and its easy to do.

Tmotion on a Sidewinder or Viper would be a huge handling issue IMO. I know 4 guys i ride with that all ride G4 and they have all bought kits last season and locked them out. Its improved the handling of their sleds tremendously, especially on climbs.

Can you tell me how you set up your suspension? My 18' has Fox Float 3's all around and Im struggling with set up.
Wheelies really bad and is a trench monster.
Which centre spring are you using now?
Limiter strap position?
Thanks!

He has a different rear skid than you, so what is working for him wont work for you. What is your front skid shock; air or coil?

It’s coil.
is it worth changing the spring out for a stiffer one?
Where should the limited strap be, tight or loose?
Or is it worth upgrading the whole set up?

Ive had the baker T-motion rear arm in my viper from day one and no issues with handling. The biggest thing I noticed was when climbing it reacts easier when steering with your feet/legs . I added a z broz front spring a couple seasons ago and it helped lighten up the front.
After a few rides and talking to Darrell I swapped out the elka rear shock spring for a lighter/softer one and the sled handles really well and gets up on top quick and couples quick . I also run my skid in the upper mount holes in the front and rear in the tunnel to keep the rear and sled lower and more level which helps take some weight off front end.
