Since the Sidewinder came out there is not much talk on the Vipers. Mine is a 2015 MTX 153. Ended up going with EVO 270 kit. I do most of my riding in trees and tree covered hills and river bottoms in the interior of Alaska. Maybe not the best sled for my riding but have not been able to sell even at a major loss. So I decided to make it work. Going to extend it to a 162 and don't know if I should go 2.5 or 3", challenger extreme or powrclaw. This forum seems to have the most Yamaha activity for mountain sleds so what you think. Thanks for any advise. Fred

Thanks guys, the longest track I ever had is the 156x3 on my modded Summit. 162 is a big step, don't know about 174. Our snow is not all that great here. Thanks Fred

the powerclaw won't hold the power, you need the camo extreme, in Lunds build thread he lists the part #

3.2? Who's making that track? - haven't heard of this yet. Will it fit?
This is the track that will be used. Camso Chellenger X3.2
Part #9311M. 15x174, 3inch pitch. I will be clipping every window on this track.

The 3.2 is too soft for 4 strokes. Not just the weight but the torque of the vehicle. I'd try to source the 3" Powerclaw if you can. It works well.
