I recently picked up a sidewinder and the guy has yet to get me the owners manual and was curious if a guy has to change the clutching to ride at 10,000 feet? What is the target rpm? Thanks guys

Where are you riding that your going to need to set up for 10,000ft?

If you have the MTX model your already set up for 8,000ft, you don't specify the model.

If your plan to ride 10,000+ft the only thing you need to do on the MTX is change the tip rivet weight from 3.1g to .85g. That is not my recommendation but Yamaha's recommendation taken directly from Yamaha's clutching chart for the SW.
Definitely not a change i would do, JMO, have fun.
Part # 90261-06028, .85g-10.3mm aluminum rivet.
