Anyone have anymore info on when the stage 5&6 will be released from EVO. Details in the kit would be great too if anyone knows anymore. Sounds like the stage 4 is a hit. I'm sure the 5&6 will be a handful.

Currently looking at the EVO stage 4 or the MC Xpress Stage 2 for the Sidewinder but i'm curious on the EVO Stage 5 because i thought i read somewhere that they are still using the stock turbo with it. Don't quote me but that's just what i think i read somewhere. Think maybe it was on 93 or 100LL though.

Modified stock turbo. Bigger compressor added to supply the required air flow to support the gains.

If you go with the EVO stage 4 you will easily be able to upgrade to stage 5 or 6 when it becomes available. Like BC said exhaust housing stays the same with a new compressor housing, then most likely MAP sensor and injectors as well.

I would assume if you went with the stage 2 from MCXpress it would be similar if you decided to upgrade down the road. Just be a more expensive upgrade as they completely replace the turbo.

From how well the other Evo stages are working they don't seem like they will release a sub par product and any time you start modifying injectors and turbo wheels would have to think the tuning becomes more complex, pretty easy to turn up factory boost and match fuel with the correct software(I'd imagine). If your going crazy big the mcxpress stage 3 would probably be the way to go but I'd have a hard time replacing a perfectly good running stock turbo making 250hp on pump gas.
