Finally got the last few finishing touches on the sled for the 2018/2019 Season
(missing Skinz seat Dec sometime)
No weight on the sled yet waiting to find a scale.
New Parts Added:
Cr Racing Lightweight Hood
Cr Racing Boards
Cr Racing Billet Throttle Block
CFR Bars, Risers, Grips
Moflo 6 piece Vent Kit + Belly Pan Vents
Munster Brake
Munster Kill switch
Munster Reverse Switch
Arctic Cat Magnetic Tether
Heated Grip/Throttle Buttons
Clutching Changed to Dalton DTYA-1’s with Dalton Primary and EPI Secondary waiting for first couple trips to dial it in with help from some of the Snow + Mud members wisdom.
Shout to Randy, Jason, Stacy for the info and help. Turblue/Lund aswell for your awesome builds and Posts. Sidewinder Community is awesome and helpful.

Info for ya I tried the dtya 1’s they are 73.6 grams as a base weight stock Yamaha mtx weights are 55.5 grams. I found even with evo stage 4 the 73.6 was way to heavy I could not even get close to rpm maybe 8200. Had to go with qay 62’s and ended up adding about 3-4 grams and that pulled the 9000rpm evo wanted. I’m running the black orange dalton secondary spring with extra twist.

Ya I have left them empty as of now, I was actually thinking they would be too light with the profile change from Thunder Products weights I was running at 68Grams with Dalton Orange spring on 70%.
I’ll try them and see. Can always switch to a lighter weight I suppose. I put them on my scales and empty they came out at 76G which I thought strange.
Stock were as you said 55G
Thunder Products we’re 68G and almost a little heavy I was gonna remove 1G in the tip.

They are a very heavy profile weight I grinded my dtya’s to 67grams and it still wouldn’t pull them but the qay 62 with the thinner profile and less toe weight at 66grams would.(might even be 64.5 grams) whatever you get the point it’s significantly less. I will say it pulls unreal hard once dialed the flash takes you to 14.8psi down low and up to 16.5 up top as it still tries to hold that manifold pressure. I have messed around with mine for two years now I’m pretty sure said combo will work for ya.

Sled looks good btw I’m sure you will enjoy not shutting your handwarmers off every time you body touches the bars. A legit problem with stock controls

This is partially why I did the stock switch delete I hit them all the time and it annoyed me a ton.
I’ll check and see if I can pickup a set of 62’s aswell since were going to be very close in setup at the end of the day. Might have saved me some tuning time/leg work thank you.

Looks really good, really like the color choices!
Great job Chris! Looks really good, boards turned out sick! Great choice on switching over to the Dalton weights. The profile is a much better design over the thunder products weights. You will want to grab a set of the Q62’s as mentioned above the DT’s are way to heavy for mountain riding. You will want to sink the second largest set screw into the tips for a starting point. I would personally recommend to target your RPM to 8850-8900 good luck
