We're finding that Mountain addition fuel can system a nice clean setup but there has been a lot of fuel cans lost on the trail as they pop off the rail.
We found the can contracts and expands a lot, combined with the right trail that is rough enough the tail of the sled whipping will literally toss the can off with out you knowing.
We are working currently at CR with a simple racking system that will be used on snow bikes and sleds, plus you will not have to buy a fancy can at a ridiculous price and worry about it flying off on a rough trail.

I usually take the can off at the cabin and didn't want the bag at the back

Empty it and put it back on. Douche bags are stealing those now. at 140 bucks they are a hot commodity. Just a little tip. I hate thieves.

Each to their own but that is a recipe to damaging or even bent tunnel. All you need is a solid blow of a whoop on the trail at the right speed. It also will severely work the suspension making it bottom out easily, once you bottom the suspension the tunnel will adsorb the impact.
I also wouldn't hesitate to throw a tie down strap on that can, see my last post on here.

I run a piece of webbing under the Mountain Addiction rails and use a fastex buckle to keep it from popping off. Works perfectly.

Glad to hear Chad is working on something - have used a lot of his parts on the last 2 T-Nytro's - they are simply the best out there IMO. Any idea on timing? would be nice if he developed a shovel / tunnel bag that went behind & / or in his gas rack

Left the factory bag on there and added Frankensled gas can/dry bag combo on both sleds. Love the dry bag cause you can keep it rolled up tight so you don't end up with Gatorade subway soup.

Lots of mountain addiction bags and jerry cans out there. I like the look and concept but not about to loose anymore, went back to BRP linq system.
