I struggled with clutching last year and I kept hearing numbers like 70+ grams on flashed sleds here is what stock mtx weights are

I have stage 4 Evo it makes 14.8psi down low and up top no compensation they claim 258hp down low with elevation losses I'm guessing 225-230hp 6500feet so assuming that a stock sled that does compensate still makes 200hp at elevation as it increases boost should clutching be pretty close starting at 62grams(dalton qay 62)?

Weight means little. Profile is everything. I use the Stock ramps loaded with big steel, 39 helix and EPI purple spring (wound tight) for my MCX stage 2 kit that I put on in April. Never really had deep fluffy to test well with. but it seemed decent. Im going to try some 8BU again and set up much like MCX nytro kits we had dialed. Im still trying to figure out the secondary which is all new and might be the stumbling block on perfection so far.
Cheers

There is no doubt there is combinations with secondary that could work but I want the adjustability on the primary weights yank some out for the really deep days. I had the shockwave on the nytro and found it was always set much like the 8bu on primary and the purple spring but rpms still fluctuated I had ability to off set that with boost controller(add or subtract boost) for really deep or hard pack. Because these daltons are so easy to use I should be able to find a weight that works.
