So I have been following multiple Sidewinder Pages on Facebook as well as TY-4stroke, Snowest, and here. And from what I’ve read and gathered the stock BOV leaks after a certain PSI 9-11psi range. The stage 4 will be at 14.8ish Psi at elevation. So after talking to Kyle Fritz @ EVO and Gene @ All Go Customs we got 2 on order to demo/try out for EVO.
Hmm that's interesting.
Do Kyle say when the stage 5 is coming out?

My buddy Brandon was supposed to talk to him today about a new tune before we do anything with the stage 4. He’s got the Grey/Yellow one in the pics. Not 100% if he has spoken with him.

Yes all tuners are finding they leak not rated past that 10.8 mark.. just curious are you getting the EVO with the upgraded Map Sensor for elevation compensation??

That's what I'm waiting for ...

Stage 5 to be late this year.. 2017!!
They were originally saying pump gas for that tune, I wonder if that will hold up?

Should be what? 270ish

Heard it will need a new pressure sensor for the map cause the factory one is maxed out at 14.8 psi

I've done my research on IHI Turbo... it is not achievable to reach those high numbers as it's out of its range. It's a stretch to achieve 245ish @ elevation.

EVO is building a big chute kit for SW be much the same of MCX 330 19T kit.. so $$$

For the type of riding I do now... I'd be very happy with a true 240 hp with Tune. That being said I hope it comes to fruition of EVO +58 @ elevation. Speaking with Kyle @ EVO it's in process.

All these claimed high hp numbers from Hurricane, Push, Turbo Dynamics etc are SL # for lake racers/east trail riding.

So on this engine how many lbs of boost is 245 HP?

And what is the max boost achievable by the factory turbo?

I definitely would be interested in replacing turbos.

After spending a bunch of time on the sw last year 240-250hp will be more than most guys could use.
I have ran 20+ lbs boost on my nytro & you just lose the rideability as you go up in power fun yes but but harder to ride.i run 10lbs on my boost it viper these days lots of fun & will climb pretty dam good.

I had the opportunity to also ride the side winder , stock except for a cr racing can and simmons skis, and I loved it, very smooth power and lots off it, coming off a 2014 m9000 162 with 240-260 ish tune and the new front end... it was very nice, I would agree that it is more than enough hp , handles as close to a two stroke as ive seen, is the best handling fourstroke ive had , same as the KING CAT- which I also had smooth clutch operation, impressive handling. never lose hp in elevation, no longer need a roll over valve, would always love to see a factory tether, This is the sled to ride if you love fourstroke and also the sled to ride if your curious about a fourstroke. just my two bits
