Ya i hear ya.. I'll take the extra weight penalty for the extra ponnies.. In the tight trees ya it can wear you down but whatever helps keeps me in shape lol..
I think that is lighter than my M1000! Thanks, keep us posted when the turbo goes on. I am 240lbs and 6ft 4inches and I would consider myself about 50lbs heavier than the average rider give or take? I have know issues with throwing my 1000 around at all and looking forward to throwing my leg over one of these sleds! Being a bigger guy I notice a difference when I jump on a 800 sled vs my well running 1000! Thus why this sled appeals to me, same weight and more ponies!

Yamaha weighed a Viper 153 with MPI turbo this spring was 641lbs ready to ride. MPI turbo kits are not that light. Probably drop 10-15lbs off the kit with a better muffler.

Just got turbo kit install pretty much wrapped up. After removing unneeded parts and adding a light weight battery Ive gained a total of 6-7 lbs..
Gotta hand it to the Boost It boys kit fit and finish is unreal on this kit and the instructions and install video make it a breeze for the DIYs..

king knob dishing out the compliments. lol why don't you try posting something constructive and people might tolerate you. Yes, you have stated and we know the yammi is a heavy sled. You have mentioned it many many times. You can't/won't get over this fact. take your scale and go weight some cows or hay bales and let us know how heavy they are compared to your 50000 dollar sled.

On a more important note, my boost it turbo should be installed by the end of this week when I'm back from vegas. Gonna be a fun year with the pro and viper.

Boost it and alpine kits will be significantly lighter than mpi due to the fact that they just have a downpipe off the turbo rather than a suitcase muffler
Is there any reason one couldn't 86 the muffler on the MPI kit and run a straight downpipe like the others do? In the interest of weight savings that is.

I think mpi has a lighter can for their kits! The suitcase if for emissions!
