Who is gonna be the first to throw a alpha skid in their side their sidewinder?
Seems like a good idea. All of a sudden, "heavy" big power 4 strokes rock the trees, side Hills!, old turbo nytros start showing up with alphas!
Seems like a good idea.
What would a guy need to make this happen ?
Custom drive shaft?
Won’t the drivers just press on the stock sidewinder shaft? It can be done. But you will either have to lose reverse, or get a custom driveshaft made. I'm thinking the latter would be better, as the aluminum shaft likely won't handle the extra hp
BDX is on it.It can be done. But you will either have to lose reverse, or get a custom driveshaft made. I'm thinking the latter would be better, as the aluminum shaft likely won't handle the extra hp
You didn't say "patent pending"... I've seen it a hundred times lol
Center of gravity maybe a touch high.I think this is an interesting concept for smaller hp and lighter sled's like the 800 Cat but i'm not really sold on it on a SW.
The SW weight and hp is extremely aggressive FAR MORE then any 800 and i'm not worried about the durability but i think the drivability will make it VERY squirrelly maybe even unmanageable, especially a powered up Winder. Already the SW is squirrelly when the your on it, i sure would be interesting to see one set up this way and see though.
