Seems like a good idea.

What would a guy need to make this happen ?

Custom drive shaft?

Wonder if it'd fold up like a chopstick with 4 stroke heft and 200+ hp

It can be done. But you will either have to lose reverse, or get a custom driveshaft made. I'm thinking the latter would be better, as the aluminum shaft likely won't handle the extra hp

Won’t the drivers just press on the stock sidewinder shaft?

I'm still interested to see if they really hold as little snow as stated. Remember bare tunnels?

I think this is an interesting concept for smaller hp and lighter sled's like the 800 Cat but i'm not really sold on it on a SW.
The SW weight and hp is extremely aggressive FAR MORE then any 800 and i'm not worried about the durability but i think the drivability will make it VERY squirrelly maybe even unmanageable, especially a powered up Winder. Already the SW is squirrelly when the your on it, i sure would be interesting to see one set up this way and see though.

Center of gravity maybe a touch high.

My experience with rear skids and turbo Yamaha’s they need some strength...I’m pretty sure I would destroy the alpha skid, but time will tell how they stand up. I think the type of riding I do it would work well if it holds together. Maybe baker will make a Balpha. Lol

$2500 murican. Different colours available. Hadn’t seen a pic of the track clips before. Will be hard to derail, I think it’s going to be awesome but only time will tell.
