Have you ever removed the seat off the SW?
If you do you will quickly realize it isn't that big, it does though cover the fuel tank and more importantly the battery that would otherwise be exposed.
I guess Yamaha could had made it smaller and added plastics to cover the battery, but that might mean more things to break.
I heard Skinz might have or is working on.

I actually have not even picked the sled up yet so no I have not had the seat off, I was just seeing if there was an aftermarket one that is a little bit shorter

I e-mailed Skinz - got an answer yesterday they won't be working on anything (Seats, windshield Packs) until off season. Did run into Laird M. at boulder in Dec - he mentioned some one supposed to have a seat by January. Anybody knows anything - please post.

In them hills.
Once you get rid of the stock suitcase could a guy relocate the battery back under the hood?

Then use the mountain cat seat?

And possibly put a bigger tank on the machine.........

I pulled me seat off and weighed it was surprisingly light. Weight savings on this sled is muffler and battery
