Side panels also were flaking like that. Yeah I really don’t see the need for anymore jam...unless your into steep long climbs in 4’ of fresh.

I.C, you going with solid color, like no decals? Or going with a better wrap?
I removed all my tunnel decals before using, my hood decals are seem ok but i noticed my wife's Cat decals are not holding out as good. Edges have some peeling.
Wonder if this has to do with the type of plastics material being used by Cat/Yamaha?

Ditching the white parts...they are not fun to keep white. Probably do a partial wrap to protect the wear spots. They warned me that the matte finish wrap doesn’t stand up as well. I do agree that the plastics texture doesn’t adhere the graphics that well.

Purchased a EVO 220 ecu upgrade, CAI, tubes, BOV, and both primary and secondary clutch kits. The clutch kit for the primary came with glide washer kit. It's to help with the binding of the spring. Kits were from Thunder Products.
Thought I would pass on that info.

So hoping to try this new magnetic tether that cat has come out with ....I see they list one for the king cat. I’m going to order one up and see. Yamaha still lists the old rubber top one. I had that freeze a few times last year and wouldn’t shut the sled down.

Is this a new purchase or have you had a chance to ride with the 220 up grade?

I’ll be adding one to my sled aswell because of the same reason sled wouldn’t turn off frozen tether.

That’s cool compared to what it was. Thanks but I’m running the doo brake on mine.

White gone....new Yamaha windshield dash bag also....that’s going to be handy. The install on it was baffling...lol. They sent push pins but they didn’t fit....tried everything but they were way to large. I used the windshield screws .....only 4.

I cheaped out on the seat since Yamaha never did make a seat. Just a local upholsterer replaced the blue and white. Coloured seats bother me. Lol.

Seat Concepts has a complete seat out, just got released in the last couple days.

Where you get the windshield bag? I like the idea for smaller items, the goggle bag you can get can never stay dry inside it seems.

Just curious if you ordered those black panels from your dealer? As a “complete” panel? I ordered a set to replace my white ones and I’m hoping they come with decals similar to yours they couldn’t confirm what/or if the decals were on them. I’m assuming they are but I won’t know until they come in.

I was debating between the windshield bag or handle bar bag. I think you sold me.
Whats the deal on them panel's, they look different then the oem?

They are oem off the 2018 MTX 153. Windshield bag will be good ...was pretty excited to see it in their accessories. I still would like a small water bottle and garmin rino holder for my handlebars.
