I saw you posted on TY for clutching, any help yet....hahaha, i doubt your going to find help on that forum. Mostly trail rider's and little knowledge to be found on that site.
That is one of the reason i got booted out, i called them on it when a guy on the mountain forum posted needing help like back in Jan and no one had anything intelligent to help him with. I told him the real deal and added i'm surprised for a Yamaha forum no one will help you with this. That was first straw, mod jumped on that like fly on crap.. LOL
I have seen it many times on TY, no help or no one wants to help intelligently.

Yeah seeing what’s going on with this primary spring rubbing and wearing in the seats....yours hasn’t been wearing? Wasn’t really looking for clutching info. I did get a set of 8lr loaded up from a fella on there, so give that a whirl and see.

I will pull mine off but to be honest with you its normal for this clutch what your seeing.
From what i remember my Nytro had the same wear marks in the spring pocket after the first season. The clutch ran flawlessly for over 8,000km with a turbo set up. In that 8,000km i put 2 sets of bushing's in the arms and one bushing in the end cap.
This clutch is the exact same one used in Yamaha 4 strokes for at least 10 years, maybe more. Pretty much bullet proof and easy to tune.

I just pulled it apart. Yes just what i thought my Nytro was the same. I wouldn't worry about it Turblue, the clutch will out live the Cat chassis and it won't effect the clutch performance.
What is important is to keep it clean, i blow mine off every couple rides to keep things free in there.

Yeah looks the same ...I just never noticed the outside of the spring wore on my other turbos like this one. Seems like the spring is to long and bananas under compression causing the outside to rub.

Mine is 113ish and not very square ...spec is 110.1. I’ve checked a few springs I have from my apex and nytro and they are square. I’m going to try dalton black/bronze or blue brown blue

Are you powering up this season?
Interesting that you stripped off your wrap. Didn't like it?

Not planning any power ups ....wrap due to it being a matte finish it’s wasn’t lasting. Apparently different quality than the shiny stuff....plus had a couple broken plastics so that made the decision to rip it off easier. Had a couple series of unfortunate events. Lol.

Looks like maybe boot rub.
I have a powerup kit still sitting in the box here from last season. Never installed it. Thinking of selling it, a buddy been wanting it for his. These Winders in stock tune and clutched properly will rip a new butt hole in just about any turbo'ed 2stroke all day long on regular pump gas. So not sure if i going to install the powerup.

Side panels also were flaking like that. Yeah I really don’t see the need for anymore jam...unless your into steep long climbs in 4’ of fresh.
