Thanks.... Pretty happy will how it turned out. Just waiting for some sealed 3 pin connectors and going to ditch the warmer block all together...probably go with pro hand warmer switches in the panel below the steering post and wire in the the dimmer. Almost have all my parts together for the summer build.

Nice one! Will the starter engage on the button while the engine is running? I am so damn clumsy I would hit the starter all the time with my luck.
Cheers,

They way I set it up. As long as you have keyed power....all safety switches satisfied and key on.... It will turn the starter over...tether is a must have and should be regardless. I may install a time delay relay in...then it would only work for a short period after power is on. I'm not worried about bumping it and no biggie anyway if you do. I never had a problem bumping it on my doo...also can start it from the key.

So an update on the push button start. I included a programmable timer relay in the circuit to kill the power to the button 20 seconds after the key on, kill switch on , and tether installed. Cycling any of these 3 will restart the timer...this way it won’t kick over while riding. If you use a start button with contacts rates large enough you would only really need the timer relay. The timer relay is off amazon from http://timers.shop/ ...I just installed it and tried it a few times so not sure on longevity, but the way I wired it in its series/parallel to the key switch so if it screws up it will still start fine off the key switch. Here are some picture and the circuit drawing ....I also included the key switch drawing and skidoo rer drawing. I also wiring in the dimmer to the skidoo block and pro rmk warmer switches to the console to ditch the ridiculous handlebar block they come with.
