trying to post a service manual for 2006-2009 apex the file is 16mb and having a hard time posting it, i will try to split it up to 2 downloads. has all codes, all mechanical, ect. it is a complete yamaha not the crap haynes

This may be a silly question but do these codes apply to the Venture sleds as well. Father in laws sled is coming up with a 00021 Oil flashing in the display.

Any help would be great.

does the oil light go out or does it stay on?, if you roll a yamaha the light will stay on for a few mins then should go out. check your oil level and sender. make sure it has good contact, also check connector at comp at front of sled, make sure there is no water in the connector

Oil light does not come on at all. Oil 00021 just flashes on the display screen. Have checked all levels and all connections but still no changes. Has been in the garage so water wont be an issue. Got any ideas??

give trent a call at walt healy. he runs the service department. he is a good guy and very fair if he has to charge something. he has helped me out alot in the past

can you help me out with trouble shooting code 81. Im aware that it has to do with my hand warmers, just lookin for hints to make them work!

Chances are that one is burnt out. I had the 81 code blinking on a Phazer, all the wiring and such was good. It turned out to be a dead warmer.

That means you have gone 21 miles past your scheduled oil change, as you ride the 00021 will increase.

Hey my 09 mtx is popping code 84 aft i gave it a bath and installed a cable off the battery for a heated visor, any thoughts?

The beginning of the thread has a legend of all the codes. 84 is the throttle override system.

Thank you, I was looking for a possable cause and maybe a solution, as it just started after i washed it, and installed that cable.

You said you had a code 84 after giving it a wash and were looking for thoughts

Your throttle override switch is frozen in so it thinks your throttle is stuck. Put it in a heated garage for a few hours.

I have a code 20 and it is blowing a fuse by the starter solenoid......any one help me? I have to figure out what this fuse is for but when it blows the fuel pump stops! I can cycle the fuel pump for 5 mins buy turning the key on and off for 5 mins.....fuse stays good.....if I start sled it will run for 20 seconds then blow the fuse. WTF!

every sevice manual that I have found is different than what I need....I need to find out what the two fuses on the solenoid are for.....the manual shows one main (30 amp) and that is it.....I have that one plus 2 10 amp fuses on each side......one of these is the one that keeps blowing!
