Has anyone replaced the front heat exchanger on a 09 nytro mtx

A rock put a big hole in my front exchanger, i was going to try and replace it myself but took it to the shop, is it hard to replace?

Yea it's a big job the heat exchanger is about $400 also i would guess 10hr labour

I wish i would have went that route, its been in the shop for a week and they are still waiting for the exchanger, and it just so happens its snowing all week and im ready to ride.

i have a 1999 600 yamaha mountain max... i have a can on it and it still seems really slugish for acceleration.. does anyone no how i can make it more snappy

you should start a new thread on this topic as this has nothign to do with what was stated above.

Sounds like fuel issue to me! Tho
