I have a 1998 yamaha sxr 600 triple.. Machine idles like a dream and if u blurp the throttle to get u rolling once ur moving u can hammer on it and it will open up.. But from a idle if u punch the throttle the thing bogs so bad it won't move and will sometimes backfire... It it is the throttle safety can it be bypassed? Or is it something else?

Sounds like carb issue. I would suggest to take the carbs out and clean them, inspect your jets, needle jets and air jets.

you can bypass the throttle safety switch by unplugging them from the carbs and plugging the ends together for testing.....if that doesn't help give it some choke to see if the bog goes away, then you will know its a fuel issue
