I have a 96, I have put 38mm flat slides from a 95 v-max 600 on it, gutted the air box and have a pipe coming for it. The different carbs work really good. I also removed the oil injection.

so far really easy, I will let you know when I pipe it, I have the info recorded (nozzle, needle, pilot, main). I have a wideband on it to make it easier. The flatslides make it really snappy. I couldn't find an aaen pipe so I am going to try DG. What clutchs are on yours?

I thought the one I had back in the 90's was in good shape but that one is truly in exceptional shape. Very Nice!

Turblue what's the story on that Sno-Sport in the background? The Scoots and Sports are tough to find and when you do find one you are going to have to pay top dollar.

Anyone familiar with clutching and a longer track. It needs a higher endgament to me. So here's what it's got.
Primary
89f with steel rivet
b-P-b spring
stock rollers

secondary
helix 88r01 set b2
think red white spring.

Gearing stock
went to 7t drivers.

so from what I can find I need alum rivets in the weights. Possible b-w-b and a pink sec set at c2.

I had a 93 Phazer ST with Aaen pipe. I ran the butterfly carbs with the primary nozzle mod ( part no.80L 14489-00-00) . I stayed with the 3A standard main nozzle because the 2A nozzle seemed to cause a bog off idle. My carbs were bored out by Hartman performance to 34mm.
For clutching I used the stock 39* helix that came on the ST model with a pink spring in C2. Primary had 89F weights with aluminum rivet and Pink Blue Pink spring. Gearing was 16/35. With the 7 tooth drivers you could probably run 16/33 gears because of the 12.5 % reduction due to the smaller drivers.
Shift rpm was 7200 with the above setup. I can't remember the engagement rpm but I believe it was around 3300.
