Thinking of heading up Blue way this weekend, does anyone know if you can get up the trail to Salmon yet? Never been there but I've heard it's good and I was hoping to check it out. Three of us heading up if we go and are all experienced riders.

I cant say for sure but i doubt if anyone has been across the cut blocks yet,and if youve never been there before its not the easiest to find your way in.

The Salmon Area is off of the Finn Creek Rd that is being plowed for logging. To get to the trail head of the Salmon area you would have to drive your truck 23kms and call your miles. I do not believe there is enough snow on the side hill to make the trail yet or any parking for vehicles back that far.

better too wait till the logging is done for there isnt much for parking down there if any...

Thanks for the info, got a radio with all the chanels for Blue and Kamloops but I think we will leave it alone till later.

The trail in is not for the faint of heart. Once you get in there it sure is worth it though. :d

Not enough snow in the cut block yet. Those little trees are big roadblocks right now.
