SledFest is a weekend of sled celebration in Valemount beginning March 20th.

The idea was to create an event that celebrates our sledding industry and is accessible to as many people as possible. We are extremely excited to put this together and we hope you are just as excited to attend. Besides the regular trail fees on Saturday, everything else at this event is free to attend.

Below is a schedule of events. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Schedule of Events:

  • An evening social and mini trade show at the Best Western Valemount Friday March 20th beginning at 7pm
  • Family friendly demo day and BBQ at the Tony Parisi Memorial Shelter up Allan Creek during the day on March 21 from 10am to 3pm.
  • Then get ready for a high flying aerial show downtown Valemount beginning at 730pm as we welcome X Games Gold medalist Brett Turcotte and friends. This is going to surely be a something you don.t want to miss.
  • Wrap all of this up on Sunday the 22nd with a family friendly poker run and BBQ in the Westridge area.

If you or your company want to donate a prize or sponsor any of the food or supplies etc, please let us know via email to info@ridevalemount.com

Hope to see you there!

Kudos to you and your team for putting together what sounds like a very full and very wicked weekend!

Is there any costs to the public over and above their daily trail pass to partake in this ?

Sounds like a good time! Definitely interested in throwing my leg over one of those turbos.

The family and I will be rolling in to town late Thursday night. The kids are pumped for their first mountain trip!

That's a big ZERO Tyler. With the exception of the trail pass fees, there are NO costs for the events this weekend.

no, but they are cancelling the Sled Fest Activities.......

That sucks, it would have been a good time I was looking forward to it. We will likely still head that way to ride power toboggans though...
