We have received 15-30cms of snow over the week and the forecast is showing bits and pieces of more at elevation. Looks to be a stormy weekend, so fingers crossed for the mother load. Riders are best rewarded finding sheltered treeline terrain or head to the trees for ultimate goodness.

Where is the best area to ride when it's socked in? I have only been to vale once and we could see, thinking of going next week.

30-50cms of new snow has fallen over the last several days and there are reports and pictures piling in of great conditions. Temps are warming up and new snow is falling. We are getting close to spring conditions down low, so please understand that we always intend to provide the best access possible balanced with user numbers.

Remember to check avalanche.ca before you head out and report your observations to the Mountain Information Network. The PWL(persistent weak layer) from late February being discussed in the bulletins will be a player for a while to come and will likely only get more sensitive. Make sure you know what you are riding on by taking a few minutes to look into the snow and see if this nastiness exists where you are riding

Very surprised to find 25cms overnight at elevation in Allan Creek today! Where is everyone? We were on a short mission with some representatives from Rec Sites and Trails BC and FLNRO, so could not eat up all the freshies and only three other people in the area.

I think you are feeling sick....you need tomorrow off

Thinking about heading to Valemount for the weekend, a couple friends are going for saturday only trip. Want to go for Saturday and Sunday, any one heading up or want to head up, out by Beachcorner, parkland

Chappell has had 10 riders on it since last groom(last night).

Allan and Clemina will be groomed up tonight.

4 of us are heading down Friday afternoon from Cold Lake. Likely have room for another set of arms to pull .

Amazing conditions out there. Back of Allan was incredible today, but the snowpack is spicey and there were some big events. Be safe friends.

Allan and Chappell groomed up tonight with only 30 riders on the Clemina trail since last nights groom.

Thanks to VARDA and all the great snow last week we had a super great trip. There's nothing like chappell in the sun for us old geezers the other areas were great as well.
