Hey all, we wanted to update everyone on the Allan Creek Shelter project.

We cannot thank the snowmobile community enough for the generous support we have, and continue to receive, for the construction of the new shelter up in Allan Creek.

As you know, this new build will be dedicated to our fallen long time Valemount snowmobile legend and dear friend, Tony Parisi.

The shelter is now in full lock up stage and that is the way it will sit until we can begin construction again next summer season. We were going to try to push through the weather and see what we could accomplish although there have been many challenges associated with the build due to its remoteness and we all feel this is the best decision. We will have a grand opening in early December of 2019.

This new shelter will serve as a memorial to our fallen friend and that last thing we want to do is rush the project and have potentially costly errors. A donor sign will be created and hung up in the old shelter to pay thanks to those who have contributed so far and please note, that donations are still be accepted and all donors over $100 will be recognized on a permanent plaque inside the new shelter.

This is not the outcome that we were all hoping to have, but these remote projects certainly come with their challenges and we all know this is the best decision.

Please respect this decision and avoid any entrance to the structure during this season.

Ride Safe.

Looks good. Are you going to leave the old cabin there too or do you have to tear it down?

Curtis,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the way I'm reading this is the new cabin is NOT to be used this season (2018/2019) and will be ready for usage for 2019/2020 Season.

If I am correct, are we asking that all snowmobilers use respect and stay out of the new cabin?
