Anyone riding Sat and Sun? Me and my buddy have never rode Blue before, wouldn't mind tagging along with another couple guys. Both ride with beacons, radios and have AST 1.

Blue was amazing last weekend. Blue skies and good snow but it was setting up fast. Trails in were smooth as butter

Rode Foam Saturday. Trail in was nice sleds got a little warm going up since we were first ones in before the sun really came out. Had 10-15cms of fresh, maybe 20 sleds up there. Making fresh tracks pretty much all day. Mashed potatoes came out starting early afternoon. Came down and parking lot was really slushy and 9 degrees but you can still stage with 4-places.

Blue river salmon was like early March conditions, 1-2' loose soft on Saturday , got about 6" wet Saturday night and was balling up under sled on Sunday

Drove up from trail pass shack and parked at bridge yesterday to unload. 2 k of snow missing for the most part from bridge. Get's better at marker 7. Went to go into Salmon and the narrow section along the ridge was sketchy and needed some shoveling to be passable so we turned around and went into Groundhog East. Trail in off main trail at marker 10 was good. Couple very small sections of road to ride. Decent snow and great weather. First time in there. Nice area!

Back to Blue River yesterday. Rode Groundhog West yesterday and snow was quite good. I'd say better than Groundhog East. If snow melts off the bridge deck, you should be able to drive up to Marker #10 where you head into Groundhog area. Would save a lot of road wear to the sled!
