Northstar specialty vehicles,they are the only true four season Ranger track system, sorry but the others are simply weekend warrior stuff. We have a 2007 Northstar Ranger built at Polaris using Soucy tracks, this machine is an all four season work horse, it will plow snow so deep that the snow is pushed over the hood (I have pictures) and keep going. Walks skeg and is more at home in mud or snow than on hard pack. We have NEVER lost a track, lost a bearing or bogey and never been left in the bush with this system, our Ranger is equipped with a flat deck and gin poles for lifting equipment up to 450lbs this unit spends lots of miles on pipelines patrolling and maintenance. Although not a cheap system we still haven't had to replace any of the track system components.

I'm looking at a time frame that may not work for special order equipment. Looks pricy, I will check at the stealership on price. looks like $5,000 for a set up camoplast track unit with access to parts at most atv/sled dealers. when specialized equipment breaks you're usually in deep doo doo. likely run with camoplast system.

I ran the tatous utv 4s tracks on my commander for a couple seasons and they worked great! Never had a issue!

pretty much what I'm thinking too. keep up with adjustments and maintenance should be good. i f there are a lot of problems sell them and look into the industrial version.

And no $5K won't get you into this system, I purchased this unit with the track system installed in 2007 for $24K

How heavy are those tracks, I know the rear of the tatous utv 4s are 112 pounds!

You could solve the blocked rad problem by mounting it up behind/between the seats. 24K for this set up in not a bad price if it comes with all the extras that are listed??? I just got a price from the Mattracks people for a set of tracks only for a 2007 P R 6x6 and they want between $11k and $14K. In 2006/07 I paid $16k for my P R 6x6.

$24,000 just for tracks? not happening in this guys life time. don't get me wrong they are likely worth every penny for the way you use them. I will use a sled before I will go down that road. have know need to push snow, just travel over top about a 100 feet at a time.

Tracks are some where around 150-180lbs each not including the carrier, carrier is all steel frame with compound carrier wheels. The tracks are Chevron track pattern military grade manufactured by Soucy International.

slow down bud, he stated $24000 I questioned if he paid $24000 for tracks and said I wasn't interested for that kind of money. he never said one way or the other.

the camoplast utv tracks are 12.5 wide front and 13.5 wide on rear, I don't doubt the commercial version are more robust, but I'm not willing to pay the price or wait for hem to get here. dealer has the camoplast in stock ready to go. $5000.

anymore than that and i got 4 sleds to chose from, that will do the job nicely. If the commercial model works better for you great, only you know what works for you! please don't decide for me though as I will make my own decisions, right or wrong. and please don't take this the wrong way! I appreciate the comments.

Hey Larry, I have a set of very gently used (2012) Camoplast Tatou 4S Larry. According to the s/n, they were sold with a mount kit for a RZR 800s, but the guy I bought them off had them mounted on a 2010 Ranger. I was going to put them on my RZR, but they've been sitting on the mezzanine. What are they worth to you?

Well looks like bamm atv has a smoking deal on tracks for a ranger $3800. Yes after i just bought a set at $5000. Arggg can't win

Been riding a can-am commander 4 seater, this POS is 12 ft long plus another 2-3 feet for tracks. Definitely not a work vehicle, Hard to get into, just as hard to get out of, Rear box may be able to carry a six pack of beer, maybe!!!. Seems to run good, no problems so far. Tracks do make it higher, but no grab handles anywhere. While driving it is constantly on n off the gas, Candidate for whiplash , Way out of it's element as a work machine, Suggest looking elsewhere
