Bought out 1st side x side / ATV.
Excited to use it. Played a bit with it tonight.

Do other brands hold the heat? Noticed that after about 20 minutes of run it the seats and box are pretty hot. Is that normal?

Our Yamaha viking holds a lot of heat in sitting area but we have a partial windshield so not as much wind flow and could cause a vortex in it but hot as hell in 25+ weather.

I never even thought about the half windshield blocking air flow like that.
But good to know that other machines do it to.

Thanks

My dad has a 2011 ranger 800 on hot days the seat gets so hot you almost can't sit on it. Nice in the winter though. You might cool it down with some reflective tape

Depending how the exhaust is routed you could try wrapping the header. I know that's supposed to help on the ac 700's

We rode Red Water today. Used a thicker bed in the box for the dog. And that kept the heat from him. We could feel heat through our seats at the end of the day. Got about 4.5 hrs of ride time in today.

It was a blast.
