What is better between these two options - better boards or the snow eliminators?

just put elminators on my d8. they seem like they will do the job. i powdercoated them black and cut of the back 2 holes so that i didn't have to cut around the hanger bracket.

I used the plastic ones from Fastlane and I love them. No way, no how does snow ever stick to them. Running boards are way stiffer now too. :d

Is there a Canadian source for the Fastlane boards or do guys just order them direct out of the US?

snow eliminators have been know to crack you tunnel
lots of people dislike that and go with better boards
there are many out there, VA makes a wide running board kit that uses the same concept as BB or SE
and WRP makes a nice set aswell

Who has the best price on snow eliminators? Snowmobile Recyclers are 199.00. Any other prices you heard of?

I would be getting the CR racing version that replaces the whole side board for the Dragon. they are definately more expensive. How much do you weight. I had a set of Better Boards on my Nytro and I weighted 280 at the time and the bent and cracked after 1/2 a season. I am sure a somewhat smaller humanb eing would have no problems though.

also check with the guys from Rat-sleds from B.C they had some pretty cool snow eliminators and new boards for sleds too. also not a bad price for what you are getting. I think that they have a web site too.

I bought a set at the sled show from HWturbos out of Montana...good guy to deal with. They were around $126.00 for the natural aluminum and I think $160 powder coated.

Hey guys, I don't know if I'm in the right place or not, I'm new to this, but I'm wondering about making my own set of stingers for my 600 zrt, and I've herd different things about back pressure in the can. What I'm looking for is dimensions and if anyone has built some and how they worked? Thanks

we are running Snow eliminators and love them. Can't comment on the ones you asked about as never ran them. We have had "0" problems running them. I think we paid $160.00 a set from CC Cycle in Westlock. 780-349-3343 ask for Jim or Claudette....tell them Ray from Slave sent ya...
