Just wondering if anyone knows of a "family" friendly toy hauler?

One that has maybe a 6 or 8 foot garage rather than a 12, and also bunks. I personally have never seen one made with bunk beds, they just have the bunk above the garage, or the hydrolic ones that come down in the garage. Our kids are only one and soon to be born lol....so need something more family oriented.
The one we have now is a 40 foot Winners Circle and the living space just isnt big enough. The garage is way to much wasted space, and the kids are to small to be putting in the back.
We go to BC alot hense why we got the toy hauler to begin with. Its the only way we could take the quads and still travel in the same vehicle.
Now we are debating another toy hauler with a smaller garage, or a pull behind trailer with a sled deck for the quads. The prob with the pull behinds is that the ceilings are usually quite low and we are both tall people and prefer the fifth wheel. Thats about the only thing we like about the fifth wheel we have now is that there are very high ceilings.
So if anyone knows of one that we should take a look at please let me know!!
Thanks!!

Shiela, Have you looked at the KZ inferno. they have a modle with actual stairs that got up(and down) for the rear bed over the garage.

If you stay away from the ultralights, the bigger bumper tows have lot's of head room.
I run a sled deck with a bumper tow and like the set up. You get lot's of storage under the deck also.

Ya those are nice for sure. Still not a whole lot of living space. This is the one we have now, and just about lose it in there having a 13 month old plus another one any day now lol.........

The 36SRV
Have NEVER used the bunk up top cause its to high.....its a storage area. lol
Will take a look at one though. The Reacon is also nice.
If going with another toy hauler I would prefer 6 feet more of living space and only a 6 foot garage.
Its looking more like a pull behind with the sled deck is a better option....or a fifth wheel with a trailer. We will keep this one for this year and then hit the RV shows in January.

You said you like to go into BC....A 5th wheel with trailer won't work for ya.
We just sold our 22' travel trailer to go with a truck camper...less space but better for taking the toys....mainly just a place to sleep anyhow.

Hi Emma. This is the way we roll. Lots of head room and it has 4 bunks in the back. Plenty of storage for the 6 of us. It's an '04 31' Dutchman. No room for sleds on the deck though :(

You could always go with a truck camper with slides mounted on a goose neck trailer and then you could put quads or sleds on behind. And when there off loaded you have your own patio.:twocents:
Actually if you do it up right you will have a nice unit!!!!

If a 40 foot 5th wheel isn't big enough, I doubt a truck camper will do, slides or no slides.....

Right now we have a 5th wheel and a trailer behind for the Ranger or Ranger and quad. Have only seen about one toy hauler that will handle a quad and the Ranger.

When we upgrade we will be looking seriously at a motorhome. An added bonus with a motorhome is that the nondriving parent can get up and tend to the rug rats while travelling. Maybe not exactly legal but better than listening to them cry for mile after mile.

Once the kids are a little older, they can sit at the table and play games, colour, etc while travelling.
