Teryx4 on back of truck

This is how I will be hauling my T4 now, I have no room to park a trailer at home so this is going to be a lot more convenient for me. I've been wanting this for awhile now and finally found the motivation to build it. Whatcha think?

If you are in an accident your odds of injury/death are drastically increased automatically. Can't be worried about ch!t like that, it'll ruin your fun. Plus I don't get in accidents!

How is is much different than having two 800lb quads or two Apex's on a sled deck?

Looking good, trailers are a pain in the a$$. If you can get away without having to have a trailer, its a bonus

I think it's the chit ! Im gunna do the same! It is steel instead of alum, absolutely no sufferance than the 1000s running around with two quads on a store bought deck? Looks great! U just helped me with my ponder to go to a Dually ! Thx

This actually better than two of anything, the weight is centered in the box and not over hanging the sides. Total width is on 75" on the deck and 64" on machine instead of two quads or sleds on a 102" deck. I'm just unsure of the capacity on the hooks in the box?

I have driving around with it all day, no worries at all anymore. Handles the highway and all bumps perfectly so far. Now I just have to build my 10ft ramps so I can get it off the truck!

I'm going to bolt mine to the box! IMO the tie downs don't hold enough. Just four holes and some grade 8 bolts with backing plates undernieth Looks great!

I thought about that style of ramp, but they would have been alot more work withe the hinge and pivot. I'm not a welder or fab shop, just somedumbguy building in his garage so I kept it simple with straight ramps.

Heres a dumb ?? for you guys. If you were to load your Side By Side on back wards would it take some weight off the back wheels and spread it more to the front? With the motor more towards the front end. Just woundering if any of ya have tried. My wife is freacking out about me buying a dually. So triy to see if its possiable to put a RZR 900m on the back of a long box SRW and not be over weight.
Right now my travel trailer is a good 1000# hitch weight, but should be able to shave that down to 650ish, maybe more if I relocate my batteries. I think my Dodge is good for 3200# pay load. So a RZR at 1400# + 650#+ Dog, wife, me, kid, genset....it dont really leave much room for the wife to gain any winter weight! I part Im worried about is it will ALL be on the back wheels, I geuss the equilizer bars. spead it out too.

The motor is in the middle of most SXS's, it's mostly just the Polaris's that have rear engines. It might help but it's already a chore to load them driving up, I wouldn't try and back one up that's just flirting with disaster!

so how do you plan on transporting 10 foot ramps in an 8 foot box?

They're on hinges,just leave them straight up!

Very nice job here s an after thought for tie down check out Princess Auto track set for tie down. They also sell the straps that click in the track and since you did a great job welding maybe weld it in other than strewing it to the deck. Looks awesome
