You never asked lol.

We've had nothing but crap out of our fords, and you should see those frames twist when compared to a dodge or chevy... It ain't pretty. I got a close friend who drove all three engines, powerjoke, dirtymax and a cummins. He said out of those the duramax and the cummins had the most go juice and the ford would take for ever for the turbo to spool up.

would like to know which year fords are twisting the frames. as ford is the only manufacturer with a solid boxed frame, probably the strongest frame of all of the manufacturers, thus ford having highest gvw on most of the classes of trucks.

also the turbo spool issue i think ws resolved a few years ago already

.
but back to the point of the story. you getting a new one or what ric?

GM also has a fully boxed frame.....Just started that for the 11' model year. Now if they would get rid of the crappy torsion bar suspension they would have a great truck!

my good friend just bought a 11 superduty and did a carli lift on it. he said with the 37" tires locked to the right it rubs on the drivers side fender, locked to the left there is over 2" gap on the same spot passenger side. something is a little out of square. wouldnt be the first ford you see dog tailing it down the highay

Don't do anything for track bar with lift, axle will pull out of center, can be pretty noticeable depending on size of lift.

Had it on my truck for a while to, not anywhere near that bad but rubbing only turning one way.

Will find out tonite if takin' a new 2011 or buying out the '06 lease...........

Crap judging on the buyout of most leases, chrysler is on crack and they don't make sense.

My dads 07 is up next month, buyout is $28k, for a truck that is worth low 20's at best.

Considering a new one is only high 40's for a SLT.....New can make a lot more sense.

Nobody's forcing you to buy it. Your lease payments must have been really low with that high of an RV!

If the dealer is stupid enough to put unreasonably high RV's, walk away from it when the term is up and re-lease a new one.

Ive leased two vehicles, lower the payment the better seeing as I wouldnt buy it out. typical leases I have done the buyout is roughly half the value of the truck from the day of purchase, not the current resale value. my chev colorado i leased back on 05, my wife rolled it, 13000 damage, insurance had it fixed, and was glad to get rid of it.

In my opinion stick with the 5.9L....No emissions crap to worry about! Stay away from the new trucks, unless of course all the emissions junk is taken off...then go with the new one. Awesome lookin trucks!!

Which did you decide ?

probably end up buying out the lease and wait til the cummins HO go on sale like these ones are.......... but they're still sharpening their pencil on this truck..... I have til tomorrow when the lease is due, but even then, they said they'll make a call to dodge and get it extended to as long as we need ;)

Ya I guess $1000/month for a 4 year lease is low payments

Problem isn't the payments, it's how quickly they drop in value.
