What did you pay to get your deck powder coated? I was quoted $450 to do the sides and the headache rack, seems reasonable but thought I should do a reality check. I'm not interested in how much paid for the option of powder coating when you bought your deck as I assume those guys get a bit of a discount.

Not sure if you are interested but my deck was Linex'd when I bought it. I purchased an extension piece and linex'd it for a decent price. Can't really remember how much but I think it was between $100-200!? Not sure what a whole deck would be.

I was looking at that as well, I paid 1K to get my front bush guard done so I assumed it would be in that ball park. It is holding up really well.

Just did the sides on my cross-trax. Cost $380 for the powder coating. Really happy the way it turned out.

I paid $200 to get those same three pieces done, it took them three weeks though. It is holding up well.

I'm curious to see what it would cost to get some of my deck powdercoated. I have some new pieces put on and i think it looks ugly having black and aluminum. So i want to get it all powdercoated black again.

Anyone have ideas what it would cost to get the deck powdercoated?

call phantom powder coating in regina, they did mine. looks awesome.
Are you perhaps the guy with the orange powdercoated headache rack on your sled deck? I seen one driving around Regina like that and thought it was pretty cool looking.

I will try and give them a call and see what they say, can they powder coat only parts of the deck? Or would they need to repaint the entire thing?

No that wasn't me. Be best if you could run it down there and let them take a look at it. There a little pricey but you won't be disappointed with the work.

Digging up the dead here but how did the line x hold up?
My deck is going under the knife soon and I want to either powder coat or armaguard it after before I wire and re-sheet it.
Anyone have an idea what it would cost to do a whole deck going either route and where to get it done in Alberta?

I would wire after. To get my deck powdercoated it ended up costing me $840, included a clear coat to protect from road grime and salt. My deck is also a bigger surface area, top and underneath was done. They did all the prep, and painting. Wire it after you get it done, just drill all your holes first.

My place charged by the square foot, so if you can measure your deck and surface area you want done. Call some places and get a quote on powdercoating by the foot. Should be all relitively the same.

shopping around here, had a $2,200 quote. And a $1000 quote. So go around ask a few places. I'm more then happy with ho way deck turned out. "Black Textured" is what I got done on mine. Gives it a matte flat look, but a little texture. Looks good, doesn't show scratches.

Ya I am stripping all the old wiring out and all the wood is off already and being replaced. I just wasn't sure who could do a deck that size. I've only had little stuff done.
