Had a minor "oops" with my Continental Cargo enclosed snow trailer, looks like its going to need a sheet of siding replaced along with a vent and marker light. Its got the screwless exterior, anyone had anything to do with replacing a sheet, how hard is it or does anyone know of a place that specializes in these types of repairs?body shops are too busy with collision work and don't want to touch it.Is it something a guy could tackle himself? There's no structural damage, just a bit of a gouge in the aluminum skin and from what I understand you can factory order the sheets in the proper color, just not sure what they use to bond them to the inner frame.

I just replaced some sheet aluminum on my trailer. There were screws along the top and along the bottom. between the top and bottom it was secured to the frame work with 2 sided foam tape. I got my replacement sheeting from Alan Dale in Red Deer. If they dont have it they can probably order it for you. Take off the old sheet and use it as a template to cut and drill holes on the new sheet. It took me a while because I replaced the aluminum along the bottom with stainless steel checker plate. SS is tough to work with! The sheet aluminum will be much easier.

Thanks Phat Cat, did you have to get the aluminum painted after or did it come the color you needed? mine has a narrow aluminum moulding screwed top and bottom over the sheets so might be similar to yours, no stainless on mine.Matching color is my concern but luckily mine' s Polar White so might not be too bad.

You can order different colours I believe if they dont have it in stock. I replaced my aluminum fenders as well cause mine were beat up by rocks. My trailer is 7 ft wide. You should get the serial number and make and give Allan Dale a call. They are quite helpfull.
