Here's a little info on it. I would like to get feed back on these.
How they tow?
Durability of tin.
Stuff falling apart
I want to hear the good and bad about this trailer.

I want to hear the good and bad about this trailer.

I have 2 cargo mate blazer car haulers for work, they seem to be ok built trailers, one is 20' other is 16' 5200# axle filled with tools. They pull ok but I would never use one for long trips sledding. Get a car hauler v-nose or a gooseneck and aluminum is nice!
The steel trailers really depreciate after 2 years of driving salty Canada winter hwys.

Yes, this is a v nose car hauler. One thing I don't like is the rivet exterior, but was told by a buddy that when you have exterior damage it is easier to repair. I don't know if this true. H&H make a nice CL gooseneck, but then the two last sleds would have to go in backwards, sound like wok to me.

I've got a 14'x7' cargo mate enclosed. Used for work for the most part along with occasional sled trips. Found it was kinda cheaply made. Had a problem with the brakes withing the first month they had run the break wires above the axle which all got pinched and fried my brake controller. Also rusted kinda quick, a lot of these manufactures put aluminum shells on a steel frame which causes it to rust quick. I'm also very picky about keeping my **** clean so it wash negligence. If I were to buy another I would spend the money to get a full alluminum.

I have a 8.5x18 continental cargo that is also made by forest river like the cargo mate. The only bad thing I have to say about it is the crappy wiring. They use scotchlock connectors for all connections and I ended up redoing all outside connections after 6 months due to corrosion.

One other problem I had with cargo mate was it came with 4ply tires... Couldn't believe this was on a trailer rated for 7500 pounds. Had them wore out in I bet 3 months tops. If I had noticed this when I purchased I new I would of told them to keep those tires and give me somthing rated for more then a versa. The dealer did supply me with a new brake controller, but after seeing there hack wiring I decided to re wire it myself instead of giving it back to dealer and being down from work for a day or two. All in all wouldn't buy a cargo mate again.

Thanks for the reply on this trailer. Talking to others also I've decided not to go with this company. I will look at Wellscargo and other brands. I like for stuff to last a long time with no problems.

I have used enclosed trailers for several years for my mobile service and the wells was one of the worst I owned. I usually did 150km of logging road per day and the wells tubing was so light the screws holding the paneling kept stripping out. I had a charmac wasn't much better it even lost the side door. I did have good luck with interstate other than cracking in the corners around the rear doors. With all the us made trailers they do cheap out on the wiring I usually install a sealed junction box on as soon as I get the trailer.
