Factory Exhaust - What to do with it when you remove it?

I changed the exhaust system on my duramax, from downpipe back. My brother changed his up too, but kept muffler and just did dpf delete. What do you do with system you removed??? I had heard before there was a guy in red deer buying them for the Cat's inside??? What does everyone else do??

You can sell it to the guy in red deer or keep it just in case you have to reinstall it one day, which you may have too. I sold mine for 450 after I sold the truck. A week later the salesman calls me and asks if I still have it as they want to reinstall it in the truck.

Check Kijiji, just search DPF

I talked to that guy last week. He told me he is "currently not accepting GM dpf and cats". Why the hell he wouldnt take a GM one is beyond me.

I replyed to this guys add in Calgary kijiji twice now for the two piece 6.4 , Still hasnt come to get it in 2 weeks.....

Because he is buying for hundreds and selling them back to people with plugged ones for thousands apparently he has an over stock of GM if he was recycling he would want them all cheaper the better right?

friend of mine has his 2010 Dodge parked at my sons car lot in consignment, my son started it up one morning to hear a roar, looked underneath,someone cut the cat off duruing the night, the thieves were caught cutting more cats off trucks at another dealer that same night, he got his cat back, but its a double wall pipe and cant be welded back on, cost my friend $2500 at Dodge for new pipe from motor back..???

been chatter of dot in albt looking into these...left my cummins stock as it runs fine with no issues in 6 years...best keep your old setup incase you gotta put it back on..their not cheap to replace $$$$$$
