Debating on putting a sled deck in my half ton or buying a trailer! Anyone else have a sled deck on their half ton with some thoughts? A new truck is out of the question for a season or two!

This topic comes up again and again is why all the smart ass responses. Bottom line is a 1/2t with a deck is way overloaded with a deck and 2 sleds. Physically it is possible and people do it but it's way over the GVWR of the truck. A lot of 3/4t units are overloaded with a deck and sleds.

I had the same dilemma. After looking into it i bough a trailer. Its a 14ft V Nose Neo that weighs apx. 1700lbs. It pulls well behind my 1/2 ton. I also bought a cap for my truck to help with air flow.
