Mine has 60000km (2011) only problem was a dead battery at 30000(same as my 2008 5.4) other than that lots of power and decent mirage.

Have had my 2012 for a year and 30,000 km. love it's power and reasonable mileage. Did, however, have the near death experience of the stupid intercooler problem of sucking water in on a dark wet highway while trying to pass a car. Truck fell flat and bucked like a horse. Got the new intercooler but have zero confidence that is the real fix for this problem ford refuses to acknowledge. If they fix properly ill still be a ford guy. If not....

have had a few customers with that problem..... Should be fixed under warranty ..... Also gas mileage isn't as good as they claimed it would be. It's decent, but not "best in class", that's for sure....

I agree.. seen the same here a couple of times Ric and I have a 2010 and love the truck but its not eco-boost and I can go from Calgary to Vancouver on one tank without the boost.

Only gad mine for about 7 weeks now with 7000 km on it. So far so good. Best mileage I've gotten was about 12.3/100 so far. Definitely not what their rating is, but that's with the 3:53 rear with premium gas. I got the 3:73 and burn reg, so not sure if that's why the big difference in fuel economy. Gonna try a couple ranks of premium and see if there really is a difference.

Maybe downhill with a tail wind, everyone I know that owns them is getting about 12-14L/100km with them, thats real driving, in real conditions, on the highway at about 110-120km/h.

Yeah. People I know can't even crack 15L per 100. Most of the time my 5.3 is doing better on gas than them.

The Lie-O-Meter throws the fuel economy way outta whack. I find that if you do a bunch of stop and go driving, then hit the hwy, the real time meter stays right at the average even if its high like around 16L/100. I cheat it a bit by getting up some good speed going up a hill, then reset it at the top and coast down the other side. Then drive normal. It stays in that 11-12 range. Even towing a trailer I've had it upwards of 18-19 average and then the instant real time meter will stay right at that average without the trailer cruising at a 100 on flat ground. Time for a reset then.

I have close to 80K on my 2011. Love it, but did have the intercooler issue. It was replaced under warranty but the problem didn't go away. Later found out all 6 coils were arced out. 6 new coils and plugs and it's ruining perfect. The mileage improved too. Driving to work (city / highway mix) it was averaging 15-16L/100km now it's 13-14L/100km. It has 3.73 gears.

I had an 11 Supercab fx4 with the 5.0 the best I got on a tank was 850k that is with programmer, intake, exhaust, 3.73's and 33/12.5r20 mud terrains. Traded for 2013 Ecoboost two weeks ago and love it! Same config as the last one except with the Ecoboost now and stock and it got 900k on the first tank, that's mixed driving, few power tests lol, and on 33/12.50r20 mud terrains again. Easiest way to get fuel economy is keeping the turbo's from wicking up, the turbos kick in at around 2000 rpm, also these trucks have the economy sweet spot at 70 to 80km an hour, 6th gear no load.
