I bought one of the e-track 2x4 holders. I cut the top off about 1/2" above the hole thats in the middle. I then put I believe a 5/16 bolt in the hole thats already there. Have two clamps set up like this in our enclosed and have had no issues for 2 years now.

Would you be able to post a picture of your set up? Not sure I follow.

What I am trying to do is come up with a way to have my rear superclamp adjustable for differing length sleds.

I don't have a pic but I can get one. Here is a pic of the item i bought. I put a bolt through the hole thats in the middle. I then cut the top of the holder flat about 1/2" above the hole. So i would be cutting off that slotted hole. (you have to pretend the picture is rotated 90 degrees to the left so its like you are attaching the holder into e track on the floor). The super clamp then clamps onto the bolt. i use this settup for the front. I am sure it would work for the rear as well. Hope this gives you a better idea until i can get a pic.

I now get how you are using that. I'm going to pick one up tomorrow and try it. The problem with the rear clamp is if your have a real low rail ie: Summit XP's the connection point needs to be real low to the trailer deck in order for the clamp to work.

I cut the loop off, then fabbed up a system with 2 pcs of 1/4 x1 x 1 1/2" flatbar and 2pcs. 1/4 x 2-1/2 bolts. It works ok, but you need a little bit of padding to make the simmons skis work. I'll get some pics up/

That is great, I would just use the d ring style that clips in and a strap.

This how i did my superclamp set up, got the info from Only Polaris. The rear is tied down with the ring rated at 4,000 lbs. total cost was maybe $50.00 from Princess auto.

The gold colored clips are the e-track board holders. can get them from princess auto. Blastoff did his exactly like mine. Works great and you can move it to wherever you need for different length sleds or different loading configurations.

I'm reviving this post as it just solved my problem and figured others might like to be reminded of this option. The Superclamps are great but I just spoke with the company and they advise they have no intentions of making any clamp options to work with E-track systems. They have their own SuperTrack system that is very nice, made of aluminum, and with their own clamp options, but quite a bit more expensive than the E-track, especially if you wait for the inevitable sales at Princess Auto (PA). I tried to heat and bend a normal E-track ring but it still sat too high for the Superclamp to work properly. The option shown by Only Polaris is exactly what is needed. I'm heading down to PA now to buy 4 of these and make the mods for our 4 race sleds. If anybody is interested, the USXC I-500 race is starting in Winnipeg Feb 8th. A friend and I are racing it again this year and hoping to get alot more Canadian riders interested to join us. There is also what they are calling a Ditch Banger class for those who don't want to race the whole thing, but want to participate in some way. This allows riders to ride the last day only, from Thief River Falls to Bemidji, and not be intimidated by the full-on racers. Check out the USXC web site, or their Facebook page for more info. We'd love to see more Canadians, and especially Manitobans get out to race this year. Thanks again Only Polaris and Blastoff.
