Airbag suspension

I could be looking at some sort of airbag suspension such as the ride rites for my 2010 GMC 2500 hd and i'm wondering who has good prices on these units. Any info is muchly appreciated.

Jeebus I paid $299 a rapid Revolutions for my Dodge 1500 that was a couple years ago I don't have the compressor just a small shot from the air hose in the garage and a digital tire gauge is all you need before you tow or haul

Jeebus I paid $299 a rapid Revolutions for my Dodge 1500 that was a couple years ago I don't have the compressor just a small shot from the air hose in the garage and a digital tire gauge is all you need before you tow or haul

did one like that for my dad a few years ago. Routed the airlines to the back license plate and used the valve stem as the bolts to hold the plate on, then put the valve caps on after the plate screws, works great, always easy to reach, any compressor will boost them when needed.

Yup just put the valve stems on each side of the plate don't hook the lines together always use 2 lines cause if there is a leak you know which side is leaking and if you put a deck on when you are cornering the when the truck leans and forces all the air out of one bag to the other side bag makes it more dangerous always keep the lines separate.


Was you dads truck a gold f150??....my buddy bought one a couple years ago and it was routed the exact same way

i used same cheap set up, but i ran my lines to the wheel wells so that a 12v air pump could reach .
they do work good but even at 5psi they still affect the ride comfort .

Ride-Rite bags recommend a minimum of 10 PSI to kept on the bags.

I too am looking at installing air bags on my 2009 Dmax 2500 CCSB. The truck seems quite soft in the rear compared to my 2001 Dodge 2500; even with 1 sled in the box the Dmax feels like it "bottoms' a lot on the highway hitting frost heaves etc. Not sure if it's hitting the overloads or the bumpstops, but assuming it's hitting the overloads could I not remove them entirely and install the airbags instead? This way I get smooth rear suspension through full travel and just adjust the airbags for payload? Thanks, hope I'm not hijacking the thread...

Well I don't think I got ripped that was install and everything and I did not want to touch them. I had the set up with the valve stems beside the rear plate on my last three trucks that I installed my self and figured I would like to check them in the cab. Guage and pump are in my console nice and clean.
