OK, I know max width on the highway without flags is 8'6" (102"). My Rzr with the 4 seat cage kit and front bumper is 117" tip to tip. If I pull off the front bumper I am at 107".

Trying to help a friend get his quad to the lake this weekend and in order to do it I will have to side load the rzr and quad.
Anyone know if I can get get away with it if I flag the rzr with or without the front bumper. My buddy will pay the ticket but it`s a ticket I don`t really need.

If you can make it over hang the front bumper to the ditch side. They probably would not bother you

Being a mere 2.5" over on each side is nothing, the chance you will be pulled over and measured is like 0.0000001% chance. I wouldn't worry about it once for a short distance. Willing to bet a good majority of cops don't even know the width, and DOT's are rare to see. But 117", I wouldn't do that, it is way to much.

IIRC you need a permit to go over 102", if under 120" just need flags during day, red lights at night, no pilot cars etc needed?

grab one of those "farmers get out of jail free" slow moving triangles...they are awsome:)

I'd just over hang more on the passenger side like was said. My car trailer is 2" too wide, and has been for 10 years, been stopped for many things, but no one has measured the trailer.

As a curtesy, you could tie a red flag on the bumper, but that may dray unwanted atttention, maybe just a piece of surveyor flag, but put it on the quad too.

I always wondered about the width with the awning on one side and our ladder hanging off the other. It seems wide as the toy hauler has a 8 foot width inside.
