hey has anyone tried these, i know they hook up like they are super glue but just curious about the life of them, i run my car alot and am planning a trip this summer in it as well and dont want to put something on it that will be worn out to fast

hahaha if u keep doing them sweet burnouts it dont really matter what tire u have on there not going to last :d:d:d:d

haha, well they were toast so i finished the job, looking for something that can take a bit of abuse, get some traction and have a half decent tread life. i dont ask for much do i lol

They can get a bit hairy in heavy rain they like to hydroplane light rain just have to watch the right foot they can kick out easy on new wet pavement

I would say around 30000KM if easy on burnouts that is using BF drag radials as a comparison have no experience with the MT

he does burnouts on dry road like that with ets hell be pickin up the pieces in about 10ft:d just sayin
had a buddy had a set ont he back of his camino, really hard on axles.:d
dang tires. lol
they do wear pretty quick though with highway driving

Not to worried about axles. Bout to throw a ford 9" with a mini spool. i know they still break but not very easy to scatter em.

With a spool they will wear faster. Every time you turn a tire has to skid. Get caught in a rain storm, especially on a rutted road you will be white knuckling.

Not to often somethin comes up that it ever sees rain. Besides every thing else i have tried gets chewed to bit in no time. Still have the ten holy in it with a mini spool and has lasted a lot longer then anything else i have tried. Of course it will be harder on the tires but better then sitting on the side of the road with half the diff laying in pieces on the asphalt.

I have run Mickey Thompsons on my 68 Firebird forever. They make the hard rubber version for crusiers but if you want the best Traction go with the Sportsman Pro. They are super sticky in fact the Tread rating is 000 The softest rubber you can get on a tire. I tried the BFG`s and they were gone in 2 months. Plus forget about driving in the rain at all. At least the Mickeys have a tread pattern. I have 1100 Hp with the NOS and I can hook up with them if i`m just a little careful off the line.
