Im looking into buying a toyhauler trailer. There are some good deals in the US and i am looking about going down and picking one up. Has anyone owned or know anyone who has had a fleetwood nitrous trailer. Any reviews on these would be appreciated. The year's i am looking at are 2007 and 2008.

Fleetwood is out of business, parts might be hard to find.

parts shouldn't be a problem as almost all applainces , accesories and runnining gear are made by other suppliers.

I have had my fleetwood for quite a while now and its been a good trailer no problems. And like said almost all the parts are made by someone else.

I didn't mean the appliances, I ment other issues like chassis, interior etc, i never said the nitrous wasn't a good trailer I just let it be known that fleetwood is out of business.
I had this problem before in 2008 with my okanagan when my wheel well broke, brand new trailer and I was SOL because okanagan closed it's doors.:realmad: I didn't want the hassle of not getting parts so I traded it.

A company called Outdoors Rv bought out fleetwoods plant and are manufacturing many of fleetwoods old lines with different decals.

Have you looked at Weekend Warrior? I've been looking for about a year now, and found this brand, from California, went under like 90% of the RV industry, but their latest models looked very good. Last model years are '09, but I think they were like 1.5 years ahead of production timelines, so could've been built in '07. Some dealers are not interested in talking about product they don't sell(they will try and push you into the junk on their lot, and I mean some of this new expensive stuff is junk..!), but the odd guy that used to sell WW will tell you that they were well built, it's just that the owner\manufacture had a spending problem and that's why they're no longer around. I agree with a lot of peoples thoughts about supporting and building a relationship with your local dealer, but to buy a better built used trailer for 20-30 G less than here, I'd find it very difficult not to look south.

Northwood manufacturing(arctic fox, Nash, and desert fox) bought out the fleetwood plant and called it Outdoors RV And The quality of these trailers are way better than what fleetwood ever made. But they did not continue with the nitrous toy hauler, a buddy of mine bought one and it a real well built trailer comparing to what fleetwood built, There not the same trailers with different decals.

To correct those that have stated Fleetwood is out of business, this is not correct. Fleetwood is still well and strong (and actually a long time customer of the company I work for). They are no longer in the Travel Trailer business and are only producing the RV with engines. For the Nitrous, we own a 26' 2006 model. The unit is not the best made, but far from the worst made. Hauling room, lots of storage and camper layout were what finally sold us on our unit - pricing was also a big key. If you are looking for a toy haulers, or any type of camper, and are not buying new, you want to find someone that buys the repos units and resells. You will get your best pricing that way. We save about $5000 USD doing this. Besides a few minor issues (that we were aware of when we purchased), we have not had any problems and we haul at least 2 stand up jetskis or 3 four wheelers in ours both locally and cross country.
