Any one know where to get a rebuilt power steering box for an 03 Dodge RAM?

Napa doesn't have them. I'm sure someone rebuilds them but cant think of who. Need one in short order, heading down to yellowstone next week.

Thank you.

I had play in mine and it was the rubber bushing in the intermediate steering shaft. It was slopping all over the place. My father inlaw owns a body shop and he called his supplier, they said they updated the shaft and the replacement was almost $1000, this is cost, not even retail.

Got one from a wreaker for under $200, out of an 05. The difference IS the rubber issolation bushing is located in the cab now, where it won't ware out.

That worn bushing tranlated into about an 1/8 of a steering wheel turn of play. There is a tiny bit of play in the box too, very little though. My main problem is I lost the power steering. It had been dropping out on me the odd time (would stop working for 5 seconds or so, about once every 2 months). Now it's just gone. And I had put a new pump on it a little while ago (I guess it wasn't the pump). There was some ugly grey matalic oil that came out of the box when I tipped it over.
