Want to see lots of smoke today?

Saturday, a bunch of guys from the alberta Dtr chapter are running their trucks on the dyno. Should be some real interesting numbers and lots of smoke. I've been once and dynoed my truck, it was cool just to sit back and watch some smoking nice trucks. I think they are starting around 9am.

THANKS TO SUMMITRON, SLEDBUNNYRACING CREW DROPPED IN ON AFI PERFORMANCE AND WAS THE DIESELTRUCKRESOURCE NORTHERN ALBERTA CHAPTER DOO THEIR THING.... SAW A COUPLE OF BIG DIESEL PULLS OUT OF A FEW DODGES(WELL OVER 1000 HP AND 1800 FT LBS TORQUE)... HUGE NUMBERS AND A HELLOF A LOTTA BLACK SMOKE...QUITE INTERESTING AND FINALLY MET THE ELUSIVE "SUMMITRON" WHO ALSO SAID HE WILL TRY TO MAKE THIS MONDAYS SUDS NITE!!! THANKS AGAIN SUMMITRON FOR THE SUGGESTION TO CHECK IT OUT.... INCREDIBLE. WAS A LOT OF NICE RIGS IN THE PARKING LOT INCLUDING SUMMITRON'S. THE BUGS HAS SOME PICS THAT HOPEFULLY HE'LL POST SOON

OK, summitron does really exist, it's due to his post that the "Average Joe's" nights got started, but he has never attended one. Come this Monday AND meet him in person...he's on the left of the photo - beside summitron in the middle of the pic is his brother and on the right its the one and only, Summitric.

Summitric is correct...hey why in CAPS...YOUR AT HOME???

Lots of smoke at this event.
Highest HP we saw was roughly 1150, this orange truck was the one.
The burgandy dually was running BiopDiesel (Deep Fry Cooking Oil) and you know what, it smelt like french fries

Nice pics there SB, thanks for posting them. I've never seen any dyno testing before. Looks like some boys put a few $$$ into their trucks!!! Was that a NOS bottle in the box of the orange truck?

Yep, that was NOS in the Bully Dog. We missed the other 1000HP trucks run. It was a sleeper, looked like any other truck on the road.
The stacks, I'm not a stck guy but it shore looks cool when there blowing smoke.
Great event and I'd go again.

Hey I must make a comment, I have attended the Average Joe's night.... the inaugural one, unfortunately I was the only one who attended. I must have had one heck of a good time....to start such an event

Ya i was suppose to be there, but work got in the way. o well ill be at the next one, maybe ill have some twins on my truck by that time. But i got a new tuner out of some buds going there.

I was thinking about twins too.....maybe blondes, wonder if the wife would mind...

.

Actually if you do any research on twins, I would like to know what you find. My way of thinking is a long as you have dark black smoke, you have excess fuel not being completely burned. If you can add more oxygen, then you should be increasing Hp. I have tonnes of smoke....kill the dinosaurs again, kind of smoke. I'm thinking I've got enough fuel, need more air? Sound Right or what.... :hemiCoupe:
