TRAILER SEEMS GOOD..... LONG DRIVE, GREAT WEATHER, STOPPED FOR A BEER OR TWO IN THE STATES. TRAILER WAS EASY TO GET BACK ACROSS THE BOARDER.. JUST HAD TO PAY GST($318.00) WHICH WILL BE TAX DEDUCTIBLE THROUGH MY COMPANY....BUGS WAS STILL UNDER THE WEATHER, AND SLEPT MOST OF THE WAY.... COMING BACK INTO CANADA, THE CUSTOMS OFFICER NEVER COMPLETELY WROTE DOWN WHAT I WAS TELLING HER AND WHEN SBR WENT TO PAY THE DUTY ON ALL THE BOOZE WE BROUGHT BACK AND THE CIG CARTON I BOUGHT FOR MY SERVICE MANAGER, THEY ALSO NEVER CHARGED US FOR THE CIGS DUTY.... AGAIN ANOTHER DISCREPENCY, AND THEN SUDDENLY A SHIFT CHANGE.... WELL THE NEW CUSTOMS AGENTS THOUGHT "WE" WERE THE CULPRITS AND NOT THERE "OWN KIND" AND DECIDED MY TRUCK/TRAILER NEEDED SEARCHED, BECAUSE WE WERE HIDING BOOZE ETC, EVEN THOUGH WE GAVE THEM ALL THE RECIEPTS WE HAD FOR THE BOOZE AND CIGS. ALMOST 4 HOURS LATER, WE WERE TOLD TO HAVE A NICE DAY.... AND THAT THEY COULDN'T DECIPHER WHAT THE FIRST AGENT HAD WRITTEN AND WHAT THE SECOND AGENT HAD WRITTEN DOWN INCORRECTLY, SO THEY DECIDED NOT TO CHARGE US FOR THE REST.....WHICH WASN'T OUR FAULT IN THE FIRST PLACE. WE SUCKED IT UP AND LEFT.... WE ORIGINALLY WERE HOPING TO BE HOME AROUND 10 TO 11PM LAST NITE, AND NEVER GOT IN UNTIL ABOUT 2:30/3:00AM THIS MORNING.......... OUCH. NOW TO GET THE R.I.V. DONE AND REGISTERED(THIS SHOULD BE EASY TOO).... THUMBS DOWN TO OUR BORDER PATROL/CUSTOMS AGENTS ON A JOB POORLY DONE!!!!

So what you are saying is that you should try to go through when a shift is just about over, and the border agent has seen enough illegal aliens hidden in glove boxes that he/she isn't going to give two sh*ts about a stupid trailer, a 40 of rum, and a carton of cigs? Makes more sense than tryin to cross when Agent 99 just punches in and is looking to bust everyone including the president.

So when is shift change, by the way??

So in the end you came across the border disappointed that you never got the strip/cavity search you were hoping for; from some hot border patrol officer.:p:D

Of course I got pictures, that's why summitric takes me...
First a comment on the border crossing, it was a difficult to hear summitric screaming while they gave him the "Rubber Glove" in that little room. I'm glad they believed him so I didn't have to endure any of that.
The customs guys were quite nice to us compared to the story the guy with Esclade (who they thought was sneaking tires across the border), he wasn't the least bit humored by the treatment.
P.S. The weather was awesome...17 degrees above...suds were cheap...it's all good...

Here is a shot of the truck and trailer hard at work...needs washed, plus a shot from last night when summitric and cat900 were adding a stereo (sounds awesome) to the trailer.
Summitrics sled trailer is extremely well outfitted now.

now, i'm just throwing out an idea or two here. think about it before you just dismiss it as nonsense.

i propose that this trailer be made available to all members of S&M, by setting up a simple, yet comprehensive registration program so members can use the trailer without complication.
before you get all upset, just realize that i'm just saying what everyone else is thinking.
very nice trailer!!!

Yep, it's nice to look at all the work Summitric has put into his newest toy...it's even better when you ride "Shotgun" and get to use it.
Here is a photo of me fueling up in Valemount over Christmas....
It's All Good Baby....

We Are SLEDBUNNYRACING....lol

Good luck on getting summitric to consider your idea.

Cheerz.
