Looking at an 03 Ford F350 XLT super duty crew cab. It has the 7.3 diesel with very low Km's. The listing says only 57,000kms. I'll be phoning to confirm that!
What are some of the issues with the 03 Ford's I should look for? With this low of mileage is there problems that may arise from lack of use?

What is a good used price for that model and year?

Thanks in advance guys.

Well all I can tell you is I bought mine new and still driving it trouble free and out of all the fords in the last 8 years I think the 7.3 is by far the best engine although they are not that great on fuel.If you dont buy it I would like to know where it is because I know a couple people who would like to get there hands on that truck. With that milage if it is in good shape I would think 29000 would not be out of the question.

I dont think the mileage is that bad. i get around 14 liters/100 kms mixed city and highway. thats with an 01 crew cab 4x4 with the 6 speed. I try to keep it under 2000 rpm though, i heard that helps quite a bit. What do you get for mileage?

I guess I shouldnt complain I get about 16 in the city if I keep my foot out of it.I do have a Intake and exuast with a chip on economy setting.Lots of power if I change the setting!
I like my ford almost as much as I like my Kingcat!

ya i dont have any aftermarket parts. i heard they help with mileage a bit. This is my first domestic diesel, so far i really like it. In fact this is my first ford and it seems to be a really solid built truck. I wouldnt hesitate picking the one listed above, the 7.3 is good for a lot of miles from what i hear.

It was down in Calgary.

Here ya go Big Foot.
2001 Cherokee Forest River Bunk Model. 27', front island bed, fold down couch, air, sleeps 7
403-371-9299 Calgary.
I was ready to grab the whole package but he sold the truck a couple weeks ago. He was asking $48,800 for the whole package, trailer and 03 F-350.

So my search continues!! Sounds like everyone agrees the 7.3 is the Ford to go with. Plus for those years, that would be my price range.

Anyone hears of an 03 F350 crew cab, 7.3diesel for sale drop me a PM.

Good luck,Those are a hot item for guys who like to hop them up,They create way more jump than the 6 litre once you add on performance parts.I have no less than 3 people who said to call them if mine is ever for sale.I would like a new truck but I just cant seem to find a reason to sell mine.
