Pre 2018 5.0 coyotes were awesome but if anyone here is looking at buying a 2018 don't! Most burn a ton of oil and good luck at the dealership trying to get a new motor.

My experience with the 2018 F150 5.0 4x4 is different than yours. This has been the best vehicle I've ever owned. Bought it to replace my 2015 GMC ongoing nightmare of a truck. My F150 has been flawless thus far, bought an extra set of winter tires and wheels for it, do oil/filter changes, air filters, wiper blades, top up the washer fluid regularly, and that is it for required maintenance in 69,240 kms, with much of those kms towing.

Well mine has burned oil heavily since new.
At 4000km I decided to check the oil, nothing showing on the stick at all. I have to keep adding oil every 1000km or so now and i'm at 30,000.
Had it in for the "reflash" and the longer dipstick haha! This isn't a 1979 pickup.
Should have gone with the tundra I guess

Thats odd, try a new dealer or complain to ford canada. Something is wrong with that engine if its not leaving a puddle on the ground.

That sucks, I've got a '16 half ton I've never added a drop of oil.
Always made it from oil change to oil change without any issues [8000k].
105k on it now...love this thing!
5.0 gets better fuel mileage than my old 2003 S15 4.3 Vortex

Maybe it was built on a Monday, boys on the line were hungover?
