What you think? Looks like a neat new entry for the Jeep crowd, bit disappointed that they went 2.3 and 2.7 ecoboost, would have been cool with a 5.0 in it. $40,000-$60,000 sticker.

Priced similar to a jeep wrangler unlimited/gladiator as expected. I think they're cool but will wait to see one in person and/or go for a test drive before making a real judgement.
That 2.7 will haul ass in that I think. The next motor I assume it will be released with is the 3L powerstroke.
I still think if I was getting something like these "off roaders" it would be the Colorado zr2 but just my opinion.
Another cool option out there either way

the 2.7 will be a strong engine with out a doubt but i agree with one of the posters a 5 L would have been nice that being said the 3.5 litre raptor hauls ass way better than the 6.2 version

Just curious, Other than being a V8 is there a reason you guys think the 5.0 would be a better fit?
It doesnt make peak torque until 4500 rpm.which isn't very useful when offroading and I'm assuming it weighs more than the 2.7 which makes the same torque at 2700 rpm.
That HO ecoboost from the raptor would be very nice though haha

to me it would be more of a history thing than a practicality one. i could be wrong but i thing the older broncos had 302s

One advantage would be they could eliminate having to pump the sound of horsepower thru the sound system !
