Owned our Chateau De Cougar since 2009. It was great with 2 kids, separate room for the kids bunks and stuff, super slide and storage that, despite my best efforts, I could not ever fill.
With our oldest moved out, and our youngest looking for more independence we decided it was time to down size the trailer. Last year we started looking, but could not find one that met our needs, or budget. I wanted something with basement storage, hard walls, and short enough that would fit on our driveway (less than 29' total length). Tough list, I figured I would have to compromise somewhere.
With all crap going on this year, we figured we would end up just living with it this year too. Until my wife stumbled on this unit a few blocks away from our house.
Its our exact trailer, without the bunkhouse. Right down to the interior colors!
The only compromise is it's missing a rear hitch, sort of. It has a bolt on from PA that would probably hold some bikes.
Oh, And now I have 2 RV's.

Well done. I downsized a couple years ago to a 24' bumper pull. (actual closer to 27') Anyway it was a good decision and way easier to park and pull.

You are a lucky guy. Cougars hanging around your house is pretty cool. Hope your wife is alright with it. Lol

Should be pretty easy to weld in a rear hitch if needed. I think it would be a pretty easy sell on the one with bunks, bunk models seem to be in high demand this year.

After some half fast attempts to sell the old Chateau last fall, we got serious this spring. Had tons of interest, more tire kickers than I can count. Then a nice couple who have had their fill of tents with 4 kids, yeah, 4 kids, decided enough was enough and wanted a trailer. Spent a half hour looking at it, asking all the proper questions and it was a done deal. They are doing it right. Find the trailer at the right price, then buy a truck to fit the trailer.
One less thing to have to worry about!
